BULK TRANSPORT
Our pneumatic dry bulk trailer fleet averages 5 years and 90% of the trailers are
1625 cubic feet self load Vac type. These Vac trailers are fast loading with
six-inch loading lines and re-engineered piping system. All of our trailers
have the latest silencing equipment for quieter unloading.
We
have developed an air cooler system for unloading, which can keep
temperature sensitive plastic from melting, while reducing unload time.
This A&R-patented air cooler system is now available to other plastic
haulers through the
J&L Tank manufacturing company.
We take great care
and pride in maintaining all of our equipment in top-notch
shape.
We use
our own brand of stainless steel hose, manufactured by
Hosemaster, Inc.

PACKAGING /
WAREHOUSING
Warehouse and packaging facilities are
provided by and in conjunction with our affiliated company, A&R Packaging &
Distribution Services, Inc. The Morris,
Illinois facility is a 300,000 square-foot packaging warehouse. The
Ontario, California warehouse is 272,000 square-feet. The Ware,
Massachusetts
facility is 120,000 square-feet. We also have warehouses in
Charleston, SC (75,000 square-feet), Fort Worth, TX (50,000
square-feet) and Jeffersonville, IN (50,000 square-feet).

In some cases,
leasing is a cost-effective option. A&R has resources that will enable you
to lease proprietary bulk Intermodal containers and various transportation
equipment including drivers, tractors, and trailer units at a very
competitive rate.
